Valerie L. Messina, a Licensed Mortgage Banker, has 30 years of experience in banking and financial services. She works directly with the consumer to analyze their credit, assets and income in order to determine the appropriate mortgage program for their needs. Valerie also recruits, trains and supervises her sales team which is comprised of registered loan solicitors. The majority of her clients come as referrals from Financial Planners, CPAs, Attorneys, Realtors and former borrowers.

Valerie is currently an active member of the Professional Business Builders of Livingston. Previously, she was a New Jersey State Trustee for the Sons of Italy Grand Council, as well as a Director on the New Jersey State Board of the International Association of Financial Planners (IAFP).

Carolyn J. Messina, a Certified Mortgage Specialist, is responsible for new business development, with a primary focus on working with Realtors to find homes for their mutual clients. She joined Valerie as her associate in 2003 and also assists clients in determining their mortgage needs and qualifying them for refinance and purchase mortgages. 

Carolyn's prior experience includes 12 years as a Public Relations and Media Specialist working for several New York & New Jersey public relations and marketing firms where she managed a variety of real estate and finance clients. In addition to graduating Cum Laude from William Paterson University, she earned her Certified Mortgage Specialist (CMS) certification from the Capstone Institute of Mortgage Finance.

Carolyn is currently the Passaic County Chapter Leader for WEXNET, a social networking group for NJ professional women. WEXNET is a strong supporter of women-related organizations, such as Shelter Our Sisters, whose mission is to assist women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

Valerie and Carolyn are both supporters of the Women's Fund of New Jersey, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising funds for its member organizations that benefit women and girls in New Jersey.
